enough riffs to sink a
battleship! My personal goal is to have the 3rd one out
sometime July ’08. It’s going to be tough, but the shit we’re coming
up with almost puts “Gaining Ground” to shame! ADRENALIN: Do you have any kind of management right now? Has there been any interest in you from labels? LEWIE: Currently we are working with Icon Management, mainly on the business aspect of everything. It is really nice to have some one on the outside looking in and supplying ideas and feedback. Were signed to Astral Records out of the UK and Australia, with distro through Century Media and Blue Pie Productions. ADRENALIN: Correct me if I am wrong but I believe I saw that right after your show at Doomsday in Milwaukee, you had a show scheduled for Visions Gentlemen's Club in Madison, WI. How did you manage to get a show booked at a strip club. Any of the band members go home with some chick's panties that night?

song goes. Lets just say it is hard to concentrate when you become the pole! ADRENALIN: On stage, you guys seem to be a tight group of musicians and like to have fun. Do you foresee a time when this band will no longer be fun and things will get boring? LEWIE: I sure as hell hope not! My belief has always been; the prospect of fame and living that rock star life, money and all that is great, but it definitely wouldn’t be worth it if it wasn’t so fun. Being in a local band sucks! Its hard work, you want it so bad, and no matter what you do, you never get that lucky break! Between work and the band I haven’t had a social life, free time, or really a weekend off for almost 7 years now! We’ve skipped most holidays, I’d cancel Christmas if I could, but the folks would probably kill me! If were not playing a show, we’re jamming, or writing music, or practicing, or spamming www.darkshift.com all over the net, or what ever. But as much as it consumes pretty much all my time, I can’t imagine life with out it. We just had a 35 date tour cancel on us, and it is really hard to bounce back up and move forward. But that’s just part of the fun! ADRENALIN: What goes on in your head while you are up on stage singing and playing guitar?
LEWIE: That’s a really
good question; it all depends, if I can hear what the fuck is going
on! A lot of sound guys that we’ve had are just horrible, or the pa
just has no balls, or a combination. If I can hear myself , I
thinking about how can I get these people more willed up! Or, hmmm…
I really could use some beer right now, |
