** Interview conducted by Darren Brandt of Adrenalin Fanzine - January 2006 **

ADRENALIN: So you come up with the music first?

III: Well, the music and lyric structure first. Cause if I sit down and.... Unless I am really feelin it,  If I sit down with just a blank piece of paper and a pen, it's like the pen is just kind of getting in my way, or if I have to think about it too much or something.  If I can just pick up a guitar and flow, then I can go back with the pen and put it together.  I wasn't like Hank William's in English, it was always a fuckin problem for me man.

III: Ok, well the do-it-yourself aspect is way cool, a lot more stressful, but in the end it is a hell of a payoff and you can get some pretty decent sounds by recording into a computer.

ADRENALIN: Yeah, I have noticed the digital technology has really evolved.  Especially in the last five years.  You can get really decent recordings with relatively inexpensive machinery.

III: Right.  As a prime example, I had a friend in from Seattle, and he was workin on his project, as far as trying to get it all warm and all sounding good.  With an official, uhhh... Whatever you call it.  Oscar?  Whatever you win with the best sounding record.  But, me and Bob hooked up and did something within an hour and a half; had it recorded, mixed and done for his hidden
