fuckin time. I've never seen them in an amphitheater, I always saw them at a small bar, with like 4 - 5 hundred people packed.
ADRENALIN: Nice.
III: And Eye Hate God used to come through all the time. Jimmy Bower, he is the guitar player in Superjoint and you know, just going back up to that local scene and playin music and hangin out with people. I got a little bit of respect from New Orleans with Buzzkill, and whenever Superjoint was about to come back to life, I was at the right place at the right time once again. I already new Jimmy and Phillip, and I said dude, I will dedicate whatever it takes to you. We were on the road for 2 years straight. As long as I can do some shows here and there I will be there for you.
As far as Superjoint right now? I am not the boss so it is hard to comment. The boss has taken a break from Superjoint for some reasons. We are kinda no longer a band; the record company went to shit. There was supposed to be a 3rd record, and Sanctuary (Records) went under so there is no longer a 3rd record required. No telling what is going to happen. I do know that Phillip is the best I have heard him in a long time. He is gonna come back strong. |
ADRENALIN: Yeah, I heard about his back surgery. It sounds like it was pretty hardcore with what the guy went through.
III: Yeah, yeah. He is itching. Whatever project it will be he is going to be putting a lot of effort into it and having some fun man.
ADRENALIN: I can't wait! Ok, when you are on the road what do you typically do after a show?
III: Sit there and try to feel like I am not having a heart attack. I am basically to tired too fuck anymore or anything man! A two and a half hour show nowadays, after saying hello to whoever wants to fuckin say hello. Most of the time I can sit there and deal with it but some nights, if I am really sick or really pissed for some reason, I will duck out. But usually just sit there and try to take a fuckin breath man. I am getting pretty sketched out after shows sometimes now. But ya know, I party in my own way, but once I am done with the show, I am already thinking about tomorrow man. And doin it all over again. The band hangs out and parties a little more than I do, only cause I am thinking about the work schedule and the voice man.
