BRIAN: It’s different in the respect that we’ve grown as musicians. You can hear it within the first seconds of it starting. Aside from November 17th, most of the other songs on it (at the time) were relatively new, but the biggest difference that we have on this one is our bassist, John, fits with us very well. Lots of talent in that guy, and can't see anyone else besting him at what he does. ADRENALIN: Who writes your lyrics? What messages can be found in your songs? BRIAN: Adam and I write the lyrics. Not that it has to be that way, but we have a lot of songs that are already set in stone. But as far as my lyrics go, ahahahah dude I don’t make any sense at all. Half of them are directed at someone in specific but can be taken other ways. The other half is a mix of too much coffee, not enough sleep, constant loneliness, and personal shit. Adams lyrics are usually really cool though. There's soooo much emotion in that shit. It's really fun getting into something real like that. I wouldn't say there are any messages in our tunes though. Both I and Adam have severe depression so there's really no shortage of inspiration, and that’s what we go on for the most part. I think the listener will be able to relate to most of it.

ADRENALIN: What is your viewpoint on the internet and using it as a tool for promotion and exposure? I know Onus hasn’t been online for very long. Just curious how it is working out so far. BRIAN: The internet has been great. I've had computer for only a few months but I've been on here every day since and I can’t believe how much attention we've gotten. Myspace specifically …. It’s free. It'd be nice to know what the fuck to do with computers though. Codes???? Copy, Paste. HMTL???? What’s all that? I suck at computers, but I learn quick. ADRENALIN: There are hundreds of metal bands in Wisconsin, can you name a few of them that you think are worthy of mentioning or that you play shows with frequently. BRIAN: ummmmm........there's sooooo many badass motherfuckers out here. Repeated Trauma is one. Tony used to play bass with us for a short time before John stepped up. Rictus Grin is always fun to be around. Omnicidal Intent has been coming to our shows since they were little kids (hahah). I miss Dumah. Underthreat was great. Oh and The Ottoman Empire. Those guys are definitely going somewhere. Our good Friends Eternal Silence. There's soo many.. ADRENALIN: What’s your opinion on the status of the music industry right now?
