will you mix it up a little to ensure a diverse production between the two?. DUSHAN: Well, we changed our mind. We will first record our new MK album. I think its better not to rush too many things. Even if the IM album is almost ready I'd prefer to record that next year. We have now a new singer for MK. It’s Henning Basse, singer from Metalium ADRENALIN: Will there be any touring involved following these releases and will there be a time and place for a U.S. tour on the horizon? Possibly a ProgPower slot? (That’s the best we got over here but at least it's something...) DUSHAN: We really hope. The new MK album will be killer and we'd love to perform for our American fans. I'm getting tons of American fans emails. We are armed and ready! ADRENALIN: Most of the time in this wonderful world of power metal the subject matter seems to focus on past events in history either fictional or based on actual events such as the case with "Hordes of the Brave" which is a tribute to Alexander the Great and his legacy in history. You don’t often hear power metal with a heavy political message just because most of the time the music doesn’t call for that sort of a theme. What are your views on the current state of affairs in the world today? DUSHAN: I wrote lyrics about terrorism (Holy war) about God (Invisible Empire), about war and innocent |
people death (crystal tears), etc... My lyrics are always metaphorical. You have to read between the lines. The world is getting mad and I fear the worst is still to come. Too much fanatism, too much capitalism. Everybody only lives for the money and don't give a shit about his dying neighbor. Hell is on earth. That's a fact.
ADRENALIN: Any plans on the horizon for a Dushan Petrossi instrumental album? DUSHAN: I'm still working on my "Trinity/An electric guitar Symphony" album. It’s only me on the guitar with an orchestra and a big epic choir. A mix of rock, metal and movie score music. Very epic. I wish to release that after the new MK and IM releases, probably in 2008. |
